Rock & Roll High School #1: Woodstock
Dan is deficient in rock and roll. This pains Tony greatly, so he attempts to enlighten Dan by assigning him a three hour audio-visual homework task: watch the Woodstock documentary. Last week, Dan begrudgingly accepted the challenge.
It wasn’t easy, it was only fun in hindsight, and it took Dan three days to get through the thing without falling asleep. In this episode, Dan shares his insights post-Woodstock.
Talking points include:
- The songs are long and gimmicky.
- Hippies aren’t carefree, they’re just dirty.
- Santana was a good looking man.
- Perhaps Woodstock was a conspiracy by the American government to garner support for the U.S. Army.
As you may have guessed, Dan wouldn’t survive 10 minutes at Burning Man.
